Congratulations to Karem Aguilar and Mauricio Hernandez for receiving an academic honor from @CollegeBoard for the National Merit Recognition Award via @MyBigFuture. We are excited to announce that the New Summerfield ISD Police Department was made official today, with all required documentation turned in to the State of Texas. With the department being established, Trey Shewmake was sworn in as New Summerfield ISD Chief of Police this afternoon by Judge Rodney Wallace. Thank you to Chief Fred Bulter of the City of New Summerfield for all the help and guidance throughout this entire process. We also want to thank the New Summerfield ISD Board of Trustees for all that they have done to ensure that our Staff and Students are safe.
