The Texas Education Agency (TEA) is currently conducting District Vulnerability Assessments (DVA) throughout the state of Texas. New Summerfield ISD just recently had an agent from the TEA on campus for a day to assess the safety of our campuses. We are pleased to inform the New Summerfield community, parents, staff, and students that we had ZERO findings on our assessment and scored 100% on TEA”s school safety assessment. We are very proud of this and thank our students and staff for all the hard work. Special thanks go to our Director of Safety and Security, Trey Shewmake, as well as the campus administration and our Board of Trustees. To our knowledge, New Summerfield ISD is the first school in our region to have no findings on their DVA. Again, thanks to everyone's hard work for making this possible, it is truly a community-wide effort.

Each box is $22 and are pre-formed and frozen so that you can as many or as few as you want and when you want them. They are so YUMMY! Because of your support, we are excited to have a new Merry-Go-Round and three spring riders on our playground soon! This year our campus ordered six thousand dollars worth of playground equipment using $5,000 in past cookie dough fundraiser profits plus a $1,000 donated from an ACE project through TXAgriLife last year.
